Creativity is the lens through which I see everything. I’m a “what if” person — someone still learning to meet fear with bravery, insecurity with courage, and weakness with resolve. My art is visual storytelling designed to educate, inspire, empower, and amuse. My deepest hope is that it moves people to dream bigger, believe in their own potential, and take ownership of the choices that shape their lives and the world around them.
My current series brings to light the lives of remarkable women history has overlooked, minimized, or misrepresented. Outliers, rebels, and rule-breakers — each one refused to be defined by society’s expectations. Their backgrounds and journeys differ widely, but they all arrived at the same destination: advocates for humanity. Often working in the shadows and against the odds, these women sparked cultural shifts that changed lives in lasting ways. Though the series centers on women, their contributions transcend gender, nationality, religion, and creed. Introducing these persevering women to a wide and diverse audience is both my mission and my honor.
My art life began after a career as a global marketing and PR professional, where I spent years building innovative, art-focused concepts for others. Eventually, the making called louder than the marketing.
I work in visual storytelling, drawn to the forged achievers, the accomplished forgotten, and the under- and misrepresented. My current project, A Decorated Woman, is a carefully curated gathering of complex, persevering women from wildly disparate backgrounds and time periods — outliers who shattered myths, boundaries, and gender roles by turning their strengths and vulnerabilities into social commentary. Each figure is set on an antique dress form and built from hundreds of digitally collaged layers drawn from images of my personal jewelry collection.
I have produced two short films — Inspiring Creativity, which explores the shared threads running through creative processes in art, architecture, and design, and Push Button House, which documents artist and architect Adam Kalkin’s transformation of a shipping container into a sculptural, functioning home. A feature film about a little-known female artist of the 17th century is currently in development. I write, and have collaborated with some of the world’s finest artists and creators on large-scale global projects.
My work has been digitally displayed across the windows of 500 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide as part of the Louis200 project. The 3D iteration traveled with 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries — from Louis Vuitton’s home in France through Singapore, Beverly Hills, New York City, London, and Tokyo. I have exhibited at Museo D’Aumale and Museo Riso in Palermo, Nine Hotel in Florence, Italy, and hold a permanent display at APPA Museum in Palermo’s historic Piazza Aragona, alongside private exhibitions at Six Summit Gallery in New York City and a solo show at Gallery D3082 in Venice, Italy.
My work lives in private collections across Europe, the UK, the United States, India, Canada, and Brazil.
Wherever I am, I call home. Most often that is in Florence or the Val D’Orcia, Italy.
